An absolute pleasure to deal with. I live in a university apartment building that couriers often refuse to deliver to because its such a hassle to enter. I contacted Jen, who was lovely and told me that delivering to me would not be an issue and that their delivery driver, Rod, would just call me when he arrived. On the day of delivery, Rod was absolutely incredible. Trolleyed everything up to my room, gave me demos of how best to tape my different boxes, what to pack in which boxes to make the easiest job for the movers, and was just an extremely lovely guy. Cannot recommend Hire A Box enough over any of their courier-using competitors. They’re professional, they personally deliver, and their delivery driver’s help and expertise was invaluable. This is a wonderful service that makes moving easy! I contacted Rod on Saturday and on Monday morning my boxes arrived. Rod was easy to communicate with via text and provided me a window of delivery that was spot on. He even contacted me prior to arrival that he was 10 minutes late, which is negligible, due to traffic. He showed me how to use the tape gun, set up the boxes and was just a lovely person to chat with. He even went the extra mile to provide moving services outside his own and called me to assure me that my movers were a solid choice. I have yet to have him pick up the boxes but he said I can text him the night before and he would be there next day. Highly recommend!

Have used Hire A Box for 4 moves and highly recommend them. Very responsive, quality products efficiently delivered. Really makes the stress of moving just a bit easier. The pickup when you are ready even months after the move, is amazing. They’ve thought of everything so you won’t have to. The package sizes per home size are spot on too.

Great service – everything arrived on time and communication was great. Delivery man took the time to take us through some packing tips and tricks and even assembled one of the boxes for us (wardrobe box) which was very kind as we haven’t used one before!

Rod delivered my box right to my front door (rather than just leaving them in the lobby of my apartment building). He showed me how to best pack a box to avoid breakage and was super polite. Boxes were very strong with good quality wrapping paper, tape and bubble wrap. Boxes can be used again numerous time. Fantastic customer service from Rod. You would be silly not to use this company.

Amazing service and excellent products I placed my order online at midnight and it arrived at 10am the next day as requested. The delivery guy was super friendly and helpfully suggested that I might have underestimated how many boxes and butchers paper I would need. He was spot on. But he had extra in his truck so was able to provide the additional quantity on the spot. The boxes themselves (I went for the used ones) were great. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience with Hire A Box.

I would absolutely use this service again. Rod showed up on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took extra time out of his day to show me the most effective way to pack the boxes and gave some really helpful advice for my overall move including packing and protecting furniture. Easy to use website, I was impressed with how easy it is to order a top up of boxes for our move. From what I found it was also the best price for the service. Rod was our guy on the ground and he is an absolute gem and I cannot remember the last time I’ve had such friendly customer service. It felt like old school customer service and reminded me that there are still good people in the world. So that’s helpful, friendly and prompt service AND gave me renewed hope in humanity, what more could you ask for in a box hire service. Would recommend.

Rod at Hire a Box was friendly and super quick to respond to any queries. The boxes themselves were good quality, sturdy, and a great size. They drop off and pick up boxes which makes moving incredibly easy and I would use their services again. Highly recommend!

Of course, best thing is that at the end of the move, they come back and collect the boxes and I get a partial refund. Great service.

I wish Google had a 10 star review!! Of all the service providers we used in our move, Hire A Box was a standout. They had the best pricing (by a mile), no need to dispose of boxes afterwards, they were the ONLY provider who arrived exactly on time and delivered what they said they would….and the did it again in reverse when they collected our used boxes. My deposit was immediately refunded – I’m talking within minutes of collection – and the correct amount (we ended up keeping a few boxes). If you are moving – just don’t use your removalist, Officeworks or Bunnings….this is a better option by a long mile.

This company is truly in a league of their own!! Their service, their products and their professionalism do not come close to any other company.
