The hire cost of 4 or 5 Porta-Robes is much less than the cost of one dress or suit that could be damaged in the move if transported without a Porta-Robe. Hire A Box Porta-Robe's have a metal bar on which the clothes hang, as in a wardrobe. 20-30 coat hangers of clothes will fit in a Porta-Robe depending on the bulk of the clothes.

The Porta-Robe is then closed and carried by the convenient hand holes in the side of the box, avoiding any damage or soiling during transport.

Our tape dispensers not making taping up the boxes fast and stress-free. People typically don't realise just how long it takes to tape a bunch of boxes (along with cutting the tape) takes without using a dispenser. Save time and hassle using our extra strong tape dispensers - and the beautiful part of it all is that you can hire one for only $5.50.

If you have never used a tape dispenser before, the driver can demonstrate how to use it at the time of delivery. You will never want to tape boxes again without one! Please note no tape rolls are include with the hire of a tape dispenser, you can buy them separately.

Write on the tape only with a permanent marking pen Don't write on the box. The next person to use the box will cover up your tape and then they can write on their tape. This prevents confusion of what's in the box when delivering and into what room the box should go.

Beware - tapes are not all the same. There are a huge number of inferior tapes in the market which have poor adhesive qualities and may cause the box to become unstuck during transportation.

White wrapping paper, or as Removalists call it in the industry "Butchers Paper", is ideal for wrapping all your crockery and glassware.

If you use newspaper the printers ink can come off and stain your crockery, glassware and other items. However, so as not to waste wrapping paper, use newspaper for padding on the bottom of boxes and for filling in spaces in your packing.

The goods will not be stained as they will be wrapped in the Butchers Paper.When wrapping, prepare a large area such as a table or bench top. Lay the wrapping paper flat ready for use. With dinner and bread plates, to prevent wastage, place the plate on the paper and fold the corner of the paper over to cover the plate. Place another plate of the same size on top and fold the other corner over. If there is still enough paper in that sheet repeat the process.

For small items tear the sheet in half and even into quarters for even Medium items. With cups, glasses and ornaments wrap each item loosely as air space between the item and the paper helps to cushion the movement.

This comes in a 5 metre roll and is 75cm high. It is perfect for protecting items such as pictures, vases, ornaments and precious items that need special care and attention.

TV's and computer monitors can also be protected using bubblewrap. Our bubble wrap is specifically cut to 75cm high to ensure it covers most items, normally bubble wrap is only cut to 50cm high.

Ensure you include some bubble wrap with your order as you will always have a few items that need that extra special care when moving.

The permanent marking pen is used for writing on the tape to indicate to yourself and the Removalist what is in the box.

This way the box can be allocated to the right area in the new premises. We have indicated that each customer writes on the tape and not on the box, which leaves just one set of instructions to eliminate confusion.

The marking pen needs to be a permanent marking pen so that it doesn't rub off the tape during transportation.
